Who we are

DQM Trade Quote is quoting software for UK trades, operated by DQM Construction. You can reach us at dqmtradequote@dqmconstruction.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

• Your account: email address, password (stored encrypted, never visible to us), and optionally your phone number.
• Your business details: company name, address, phone, email, logo, VAT status and your default pricing rates.
• Your customers and jobs: customer name and contact details, job descriptions, site notes, photographs you upload, quotes, programmes and product lists.
• Payments: subscription status and payment records. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach us.
• Assistant conversations: what you type or say to the in-app assistant, so it can answer and remember how you work.
• Technical information: basic device and usage information needed to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

To give you an account, build and send your quotes, take card payments from your customers on your behalf, answer your questions through the assistant, send transactional emails such as quote responses and password resets, and to prevent abuse of the free tier. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, file storage and authentication.
• Stripe — subscription billing and customer card payments.
• AI providers (Google, OpenAI) — processing the text, photos and voice you send to the assistant.
• Tavily — live supplier and product research when you ask for prices.

Each of these acts on our instructions only. Some processing takes place outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards.

Microphone, camera and photos

The app asks for camera and photo access only when you add site photographs to a job, and for microphone access only when you dictate or talk to the assistant. Recordings are used to produce the text or spoken reply and are not kept as audio files.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your company details, customers, quotes, photographs, product lists and assistant conversations. Payment records required for accounting and tax are retained as the law requires.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all its data yourself at any time: open Settings and use Delete my account. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. You can also email us and we will do it for you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

DQM Trade Quote is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
